Rippowam PTO Weekly NEWS/Week of October 12, 2015

Holocaust Survivor to Speak at Rippowam on Tuesday 10/20 — Parents Invited to Attend
The 8th grade Language & Literature classes are nearing the end of their unit of study of Night, written by Holocaust survivor and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Elie Wiesel. As one of the final activities, Mrs. Judith Altman, a local Holocaust survivor, will be talking to Ripp students about her experiences. This generation will likely be the last to benefit from a first-hand account of the Holocaust. She will be visiting Rippowam on Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 10 am to noon.  Parents are invited to join the students for this memorable experience.  If you plan on attending, please sign in at the Main Office and obtain a visitor’s pass.  See attached letter.
